In the cave of my dreams drippings of lard from the BBQ smoker take the place of limestone creations thousands of years in the making.

If only we had the map with us.  Too bad there was no cellular, smart phone, multiple bars, can-you-hear-me-now? connection out here in the nether world of no cell towers.  Take a left at the fork, look for the spoon, and don’t forget the knife.

I guess this is the half-way point of the project.  Sorry there are no golden nuggets of wisdom or witty things to say after six months of daily images.  Ask me at day 365 or 366 depending on the leap.

No need to worry when those 100 watt incandescent bulbs go the way of the dinosaurs.

Crumbling infrastructure and the scenic country side.

Why has the metric system never caught on in the U.S. of A.?  The whole world uses it, not to mention the entire scientific community in the States.  I guess Metric Mania will have to wait until Easter 2012.

What could be more scarier this Halloween season than knowing the Christmas shopping rush begins November 1st?

Day 178 started with a 13.1 mile run in the scenic WI Dells.  After completing the run and laying down on the asphalt enjoying the flood of endorphins streaming through my blood, I left a nice sweat angel imprint.  Thank you to my wonderful wife for holding the camera and taking the shot while I sat back and directed.

Tap the xylem, fire up the burners, and get the flap-jacks ready.
