One of my favorite spots to go in the summer evenings to just get away and enjoy the end of the day is an intersection just at the southwestern edge of Hartford.  The intersection sits at the top of a hill and has an almost panoramic view of the country side.  The sunsets are amazing and can be enjoyed all year – from the southern most point of the sun in the winter to its final position in the north during the summer.
