We always have a blast working with the Jahnke’s. Their boys are adorable and we love capturing the chemistry of this family. So, when Jenny told us that they were ready to introduce us to their fourth little boy, Noah, and their new digs – we were so excited! We are so happy for them. Thanks again Jenny & Charlie for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to capture such sweet moments in your lives!
Where to start? Well, Sarah first met Christine when they acted together in a commercial for Columbia College. Last fall we had the honor of shooting Christine’s new actress/model head shots. Now, almost a year later, we were elated we she contacted us to shoot her family. As soon as we pulled up to their darling house, we knew the shoot would be great. It’s so fantastic to capture a family at their residence. Where you call home is such a big part of your lives; it deserves to be photographed with the family. Capturing the chemistry between everyone was a piece of cake and extremely fun to watch. Thanks again Christine, Dave, Dory, and Cooper (their chocolate labra-doodle). Cooper reminded us soooo much of our golden doodle Monty – same eyes!
This past week we had the pleasure of visiting with Steven’s sister Abby, her husband Jeremy, and Phil and Laura – our nephew and niece. After years of hard work, several moves, and many sacrifices they have finally settled into their new house in Lexington, KY where Jeremy is now a neuroanesthesiologist. It was a blast having the chance to visit with them all, especially the kids. Phil and Laura are both serious competitive fencers and could very well have an Olympic future. Abby chose a great location for their family session – the Henry Clay Estate right across from their house. The grounds and the house were a great example of the grand southern estates seen in the area and set the perfect backdrop for some awesome photos. We’re so excited for this new chapter in their lives and are extremely proud of all they have accomplished.

Thanks again to Abby & Jeremy for sharing this very exciting time in their lives with us. We had such a spectacular visit and can’t wait to get together again soon! Smooches to the kiddos. We love you guys!
The Fellers are such a fantastic family to work with. It seems like just yesterday when we captured Kristin & Dan’s nuptials and first baby bump. A few years later the family welcomed it’s newest member, Harper. We are so proud to be this family’s selected photographer. Thanks so much to Kristin & Dan for taking us on this journey and allowing us to continue to capture these precious moments with you. It’s such an honor.
Capturing kids growing up is one of the things I love most about my job. Especially when they are as cute as Cole. Remember this little bambino’s newborn session? At six months old he is already sprouting up so fast! We loved meeting the rest of the family during this shoot, especially little Elise. She is such a good big sister and absolutely adorable. We are so happy Jamie and Jason asked us to capture their beautiful family. Can’t wait to work with them again soon!

It is always so awesome for us to photograph a couple’s engagement session, their big wedding day, the baby bump session, their new born child’s first year of life. We were lucky enough to share these moments/sessions with Nina and Geoff and have become friends over the years. I know that I have said this before, but I cannot tell you enough how rewarding it is for us to capture these life moments for people – let alone our friends. I actually got a little teary eyed when I was going through these photos because it’s so awesome to have created pictures like this of a child and his family, knowing that one day they will all look back on them and treasure these moments. Today we get to witness and capture Ty’s 1st birthday party! We can’t wait! Another huge thank you to our parents, Nina & Geoff – we are so lucky to have you as our clients and our friends. Kids grow up so fast! That’s one of the many reasons we love our jobs so much – we get to freeze these moments in time. Just look at how much these little guys have changed from last year. It was great to work everyone again!
Saturday we had the wonderful opportunity to work with a new family, the Frys. Luckily, the weather has been absolutely fabulous for our fall shoots. Two year old, Logan, was a doll! He looked like a little man in his cute little outfit. We had fun chasing him around the field and watching him discover the milk weed. It’s always such a treasure for us to witness and capture families, couples, kids. These moments are now frozen for them to hold on to forever. We are so lucky to work with clients like the Frys – thanks guys!
This early evening shoot gave us the warm and yummy light we were looking for! We always have such a nice time working with the Fellers. To think… it all started just a few years ago with Kristin + Dan’s wedding, then maternity session, then Addison’s first year, now Harper’s first year of photos. Just look at how much Harper has grown since her newborn session 6 months ago! I always say this, but it’s so true… we are truly honored to capture these beautiful milestones for our clients so that they have them to hold on to forever. Thanks to the Fellers for (once again) being such awesome subjects – can’t wait to see you all again soon!
