Michelle + Dan
Catherine + Nick
We were delighted to work with this lovely couple in Tosa’s village. We started off at Cafe Hollander where we got to know the couple a little better and then made our way around the village. After capturing Catherine and Nick’s session, we are sooooo excited to work with them again in a couple of weeks on their wedding day. Outdoor weddings are our favorites!
Kelly + Andy
When a couple brings along props to help enhance their session, it always gives us a sense of who they are as a couple and inspires us to truly capture that. From the books cut into letters (Andy is an English teacher) to the hand made baby’s breath hair piece Kelly wore, they brought out all the stops. Since the couple is going with a more rustic theme for their wedding, we thought Sarah’s mom’s house in the Kettle Moraine country side was the perfect setting. Kelly and Andy were so comfortable in front of the camera they needed no direction at all. All of us had a great time getting to know each other and sharing a few laughs during the slightly rainy afternoon. The whole experience has Steven and I even more excited for their big day. We can’t wait! Thanks to Kelly and Andy for coordinating so well.
Katy + Bob
Summer sessions officially kicked off with Katy & Bob and they were naturals in front of the camera. The pair were perfectly coordinated. Katy even matched her nails to her scarf – loved it! Their big day is sure to be eventful, so we really cannot wait to work with them again!
Margo + Jon
Meeting this couple was a delight! Since Margo and Jon plan to wed in our state’s capital, they wanted to capture some images at their favorite spot on the union terrace. It was only appropriate they included their sweet pup ‘Madison’ in on the fun. She was such a good dog. Full of life and quite the obsessive compulsive when it comes to all things tennis ball. She even noticed the ones tied to the boats on the pier. Adorable! While getting to know the couple throughout the shoot, it was our agreement that their wedding day is going to be amazing. Can’t wait to get another chance to work with them soon.
Sharon + David
When Sharon first contacted us, I noticed that there was something special about their wedding date. It’s our anniversary! Come May 17th, we will be sharing our 11 year wedding anniversary with this lovely couple – we are so excited! Needless to say, we knew we were the perfect fit for them. They are so laid back and easy going. It really felt like we were just hanging out with old friends. We cannot wait to capture their nuptials next month and celebrate our anniversaries alike.
Lizzie + Nick
Oh. My. Gosh. My sister is engaged!!! Since day one, we all knew that Nick was different. From the way Liz spoke about him, to the looks that she and Nick would exchange, it was just very special. He brings out the best in my sister and we all couldn’t be happier to have him join our family. Of course Steven and I jumped at the opportunity to capture their love. So we headed down to the historic third ward of downtown Milwaukee, with ‘her little dog too’. Lizzie’s dog, Chewy, was along for the ride despite the harsh winter winds —> notice below how Steven took care of that! We all had a blast together. Our cheeks hurt afterwards, not from the cold, but rather from all of laughs we had shared during the shoot. It truly was a treasure working with them. Congrats on your engagement Lizzie & Nick. Here’s to a fantastic wedding and marriage ahead. Nick, I’m so happy that you came along and swept my little sister off her feet. Liz, I’m so honored to be your photographer, sister, friend… and MAID OF HONOR! Woot! Woot! Love you. -Sarah
Lisa + Tony
While this winter has been pretty brutal, it does give us another excuse to get our engaged couples to really cuddle up. Lisa & Anthony certainly warmed each other up! We loved getting to work with them last week. Their giggles and laughter were infectious. We simply cannot wait to capture their big day… less than 2 weeks to go!
Alice + Lance
While the weather outside was frightful, we decided to take our engagement session with Alice + Lance indoors at the University Club. The club provided some great nooks for the couple to cuddle up into. Looking forward to getting back there for their big day… which is in just 2 short weeks! Steven and I cannot wait! Thanks again to the lovely couple for braving the cold for a closing shot. Alice had the perfect fur to help keep her warm:)
