I know what it is.  It’s a crash site.  Someone or several someones lost a life/lives here.  I try to convince myself this is not the case.  Perhaps a concerned motorist placed it here as a talisman to protect drivers from conditions of the road or other drivers oblivious to their lack luster performance behind the wheel.  Perhaps its merely a reminder to those of us traveling past her gaze to slow down, take it easy, and remember life doesn’t have to fly by at 65mph all the time.
