We know it’s redundant when we say what a joy it is to capture the milestones in the lives of our couples. From the engagement session to the birth of their first child, seeing love blossom firsthand from a “Will you marry me?” to a “It’s a boy!” is a wonder we never tire of. Last Wednesday we had the pleasure of meeting Callahan Clayton Meyers. We loved working with his parents, Renee & Jason, in 2009 for their engagement and wedding. Now Callahan is here and boy does he do well in front of the camera. He may be too young to call him a natural just yet, but his relaxed demeanor made our work fun and extremely rewarding. Of course we are in love with Callahan’s name. Great choice Renee and Jason. Very unique! Jason, a huge hockey fan, was extremely excited to incorporate some of his hockey swag for his son’s first photo session. Those tiny skates – they were Jason’s when he was a young lad. A cool touch indeed. Congratulations Renee and Jason. You’ve created such a lovely family. We can’t wait to see what the years have in store for the three of you (four if you count Baloo the adorable cat).

Photos that will bring a life time of joy. This family will be thankful that they made the investment in memories. BEAUTIFUL WORK
Renee & Jason,
What a beautiful little boy. Watch him closely. In no time, you will be at his wedding. Enjoy!
Thought that I’d post some Callahan machine specifications, sorry gear head / engineering joke.

Spottswood,
You guys ROCK! It’s always a pleasure to work with the two of you, from your talent, to the way you honestly care about the people you work with. You are truly WORLD CLASS professionals, who capture our most important moments, filling our lives with joy and fine memories. Keep doing what you’re doing, it brings such contagious happiness to so many, like the joy I get seeing my wife happy.
Thank you!
Jason
hi jason and renee, wow! what a joy to see all three of you! jason, you look so well and so happy! renee, i have never met you, but you look just gorgeous and very relaxed as you hold your little baby. and what a beauty he is! could not be cuter. hairy dude, huh? looks as happy as can be. mazeltov and thanks to the One who somehow shows up as life here in 3D as well as beyond the beyond…maybe we can call THAT creative beingness Nature….in any case, what these photos share gladdens my heart! thanks for sharing!
i will show the photos to tomas (tom) soon. (he is napping now). i can hear him ooooing and ahhhing..
He is a sucker for cuteness.
we have a little baby chicken who hatched inside, from an egg that the mama chicken sat on for a month and then nudged out of the nest, or it rolled. i saw it in the cold and thought it was rotten (it was cracked and looked blackish inside). i picked it up to do something smart with it, and it started peeping. so it has been inside for 6 weeks now, tho it is now too big to be in the kitchen, so i am adjusting it to being outside, near the other chickens, but not so close that they can peck it to smithereens. tomas enjoys having the chick nustle into his lap (as long as his lap has protection from you know what).
thanks again for including us in the loop. hugs all around, claudia (rahmaneh)
