Marie & Efren couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for their engagement session. First? A stop at their favorite coffee shop, Alterra down by the lakefront. Then a quiet stroll down to the beachfront where they snuggled on a picnic table and Efren proposed to Marie. It was such a relaxing shoot lakeside last Sunday with these two. We enjoyed working with them so much that we know the wedding day will be a blast – can’t wait!
Kids grow up so fast! That’s one of the many reasons we love our jobs so much – we get to freeze these moments in time. Just look at how much these little guys have changed from last year. It was great to work everyone again!
Again, its always such a big compliment to us when we are asked by other photographers to photograph them! We couldn’t be more honored to shoot our associate Chris’s upcoming wedding to Kaelyn in February. We enjoyed one of the final days of the summer-like weather on their engagement shoot. Saturday we had the wonderful opportunity to work with a new family, the Frys. Luckily, the weather has been absolutely fabulous for our fall shoots. Two year old, Logan, was a doll! He looked like a little man in his cute little outfit. We had fun chasing him around the field and watching him discover the milk weed. It’s always such a treasure for us to witness and capture families, couples, kids. These moments are now frozen for them to hold on to forever. We are so lucky to work with clients like the Frys – thanks guys!
I wanted to take this time to wish my loving husband a happy birthday. Steven, photography is just one of your MANY gifts. I’m so happy to be part of your life and share in such wonderful memories year after year. You are really special. Love you Steven – always:)

Remember Breanne + Matt’s engagement session we shot in NYC this summer? Their wedding last weekend was equally as fabulous (just as we knew it would be:). You can’t go wrong with such a wonderful couple. Matt looked dapper in his tux and Breanne was radiant in her dress. The dress… Oh my goodness, the dress!!! Incredible. … they couldn’t have picked better details to showcase their personalities. From the art museum, to the lighting, to the superb menu, to the cookie bar, to even the cheese curds they had on chilled marble for everyone as favors at the end of the evening – this event was like none other. We really enjoyed working with Breanne and Matt and wish them nothing but the best life has to offer. Thank you both so much for allowing us to take part in your journey.

Breanne is actually a designer for PUMA in NYC, so when it came to designing a surprise 2nd dress for the reception – she took it into her own hands. It was spectacular! I LOVE the back detail and how it flows. Steven and I agreed that it really complemented the first dress very well.

We knew working with these two on their wedding day would be awesome because we really enjoyed shooting their engagement session. Loved the propeller cufflinks Elliot sported – being a pilot and all – they suited him perfectly. They even actually spun! Lakefront Brewery never disappoints. You have got to try their INDIA BLACK ALE – awesome! The wedding band was definitely one of the highlights – hope to see those guys again. Seriously, they were terrific. If you want to really show your guests a good time, hire these guys – they rock! Congrats to the happy couple – you guys really know how to put on a partaaaay! Thanks again:)

Kaitlyn is an absolute doll and she was super easy to work with – a natural in front of the camera. We couldn’t believe how much she reminded us of Selena Gomez! This early evening shoot gave us the warm and yummy light we were looking for! We always have such a nice time working with the Fellers. To think… it all started just a few years ago with Kristin + Dan’s wedding, then maternity session, then Addison’s first year, now Harper’s first year of photos. Just look at how much Harper has grown since her newborn session 6 months ago! I always say this, but it’s so true… we are truly honored to capture these beautiful milestones for our clients so that they have them to hold on to forever. Thanks to the Fellers for (once again) being such awesome subjects – can’t wait to see you all again soon!
