When we saw what our associates created for this awesome couple HERE, we knew the wedding day images would be great! It’s exciting to see the cool details that Allie & Joey picked out, like her super fun fascinator and lovely lace gloves. Not to mention Joey’s bow tie, Steven and I are both crazy about bow ties! What a great way to spend our Friday evening – strolling through Milwaukee’s 3rd Ward capturing the love between Katie and Matt. We had a blast getting to know the couple as we enjoyed the cool summer evening. Katie and Matt were naturals in front of the camera. The interaction between the two was priceless and easy to photograph. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for their wedding next June.

Dority Family

This past week we had the pleasure of visiting with Steven’s sister Abby, her husband Jeremy, and Phil and Laura – our nephew and niece. After years of hard work, several moves, and many sacrifices they have finally settled into their new house in Lexington, KY where Jeremy is now a neuroanesthesiologist. It was a blast having the chance to visit with them all, especially the kids. Phil and Laura are both serious competitive fencers and could very well have an Olympic future. Abby chose a great location for their family session – the Henry Clay Estate right across from their house. The grounds and the house were a great example of the grand southern estates seen in the area and set the perfect backdrop for some awesome photos. We’re so excited for this new chapter in their lives and are extremely proud of all they have accomplished.

Thanks again to Abby & Jeremy for sharing this very exciting time in their lives with us. We had such a spectacular visit and can’t wait to get together again soon! Smooches to the kiddos. We love you guys!

It was the perfect day for this outdoor wedding at the new Wisconsin Club in Brown Deer. The flowers were exceptional – so bright and cheerful. They really stood out against the black and white palette the bride selected. The M&M’s blew us both away!!! We couldn’t believe how much the photos on them resembled the bride and groom’s likeness. All in all it was a terrific day. We are so happy for Lizzy & Josh.

Our visit to Glen Lake, Michigan was one we will always remember. Not only were we able to spend time with Steve’s younger brother Matt and his lovely wife Kelly, but we also finally met our new niece, Estelle. She is really something else. When people talk about ‘happy’ babies, she is one of them; so relaxed and chill. We were amazed at how well she just went with the flow. She is a truly a little beauty and we cannot wait to see her little personality develop as she grows. I told Kelly we had to use her ultra cool necklace in a few shots. It’s from ChewBeads. Not only is it super fashionable, but it’s safe for your little one to chew on. Every mommy should purchase one. A special thanks to Matt and Kelly for inviting us to Glen Lake. We love you guys and are so happy for you both!
