While this winter has been pretty brutal, it does give us another excuse to get our engaged couples to really cuddle up. Lisa & Anthony certainly warmed each other up! We loved getting to work with them last week. Their giggles and laughter were infectious. We simply cannot wait to capture their big day… less than 2 weeks to go!
While out west last week we had some fun shooting product for ScottFree Salon. Their biotin line is ahhhhmazing and their apparel is very hip. Steven lives in that hat! Oh my gosh! Words cannot express how much we cherish capturing the Ziesemer family. Since our first meeting and capturing their wedding we knew and felt a strong connection with Geoff and Nina. Over the years our connection and friendship grew. We’ve had the honor of sharing several milestones in their lives as well as ours. From welcoming their first son Ty to witnessing the miracle of Brody’s birth to having Geoff as our realtor for our move back to Brew City, it’s been a great seven years knowing this special family. We just cannot wait to share more memories with them as we capture Brody’s first year.
Steven and I are so delighted that The Wedding Chicks wanted to feature Lauren + Jordan’s Pinterest Inspired Vintage Wedding. Photographing this event was a dream. All of the hard work that the couple put into the details really paid off. Lauren was such a creative bride and the wedding really showcased that. Once again… BEAMING about our image being used to promote Kentucky Bride Magazine’s bridal event this weekend, How Charming! Not only are we excited to participate in such an event, we can’t wait to meet all of the lovely southern brides of Lexington.
Hard to believe how much Macie has grown since our last encounter! While this little lady was full of energy, she did find some time to pose for the camera. It’s not every day that we get a chance to document the interaction of a little girl and her furry friend. It was very sweet to watch them together. Looking forward to continuing to watch her grow with him. Many thanks to Nicole for the absolutely fabulous homemade macaroons. Oh yes, she made them herself. She is quite the baker. The homemade chocolate chip cookies that she shared with us last time were amazing! (Seriously, some of the very best we have EVER tasted:) Happy Birthday Macie!
Warming up by the fire is one of our favorite past times these days. So when we were asked to capture Cayden’s 9 month session at the Froh residence, what better place for the family to get cuddled up than by the warm fire:) As always, this family shined as we documented their loving interaction. Having grown so much from the last time we saw him, Cayden reminds us of his big sister Maddie when she was that age – so vibrant and full of laughter. It really makes Steven and I feel so special when we get to come into a family’s home and freeze <--- pun intended:) these moments in time for them. How wonderful it will be to look back on these moments and relive them once again. Thanks to Pat and Jamie, clearly some of the best parents around. Happy New Year!
