It all began on the fateful day when Catherine needed a ride to see a local band her friends knew of. Lo and behold through several channels of communication the band’s guitarist, Nick, agreed to pick her up in the band’s van.  After offering Catherine some of his extra Little Cesar’s pizza their love story began.  On August 16th they wrote their latest chapter when they tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Cedarburg’s historic Covered Bridge Park.  While the ladies busied themselves with their preparations the gentlemen readied the ceremony site.  All of elements incorporated made their day extremely unique.  The ring box was handmade by none other than the couple themselves.  And though Catherine’s father could only be there in spirit, his best friend Tom had the honor of escorting and handing off his daughter to Nick. Catherine’s bouquet, always kept close to her heart, held a photo of her father keeping his presence and memory near.  After a wonderful afternoon in the late summer heat guests retired to a lively reception filled with merriment, love, and fellowship.  To number their tables, Catherine and Nick used small notebooks guests were encouraged to fill out with well wishes, advice, and general words of love.  The dance floor pulsated with the rhythm of the music while people showed off their silly side at one of the most prop-filled photo booths we’ve had the pleasure of coming across.  We were extremely honored to capture this special event in Catherine and Nick’s lives and wish them all the best in the years to come.
