Our day began sunny, bright, and warm.\u00a0 It ended with a cool front, soft clouds, and much needed rain.\u00a0\u00a0 In between, we had the privilege of documenting Anne and Ibzan’s nuptials.\u00a0 The two met working at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, share a love of reading (the tables were identified by some of their favorite classics), and have been inseparable since.\u00a0 The events of the day started early; Anne at Studio D’Angeli, Ibzan getting ready elsewhere.\u00a0 The mid-morning ceremony was followed by a delicious luncheon at the never-disappointing Lake Park Bistro.\u00a0 Since the couple planned to honeymoon in France they chose a tasteful French theme for the reception. Thankfully the heaviest of the rain had subsided before our family and formal portraits.\u00a0 Even though we were worried about our bride and groom getting wet, they were more than willing to brave a few sprinkles here and there for some non-traditonal shots by the Milwaukee Art Museum.\u00a0 We wish Anne and Ibzan the best on the journey they embarked on.<\/p>\n
