The Fellers are such a fantastic family to work with. It seems like just yesterday when we captured Kristin & Dan’s nuptials and first baby bump. A few years later the family welcomed it’s newest member, Harper. We are so proud to be this family’s selected photographer. Capturing kids growing up is one of the things I love most about my job. Especially when they are as cute as Cole. Remember this little bambino’s newborn session? At six months old he is already sprouting up so fast! We loved meeting the rest of the family during this shoot, especially little Elise. She is such a good big sister and absolutely adorable. We are so happy Jamie and Jason asked us to capture their beautiful family. Can’t wait to work with them again soon!

We had the pleasure of meeting another little peanut last week – Beckett. He decided to arrive 3 weeks early so he was still only around 5 pounds when we photographed him. What a cutie! It is amazing how much he looks like his big brother Grayson as a newborn. Congratulations to Annie & Jeff!

Remember this little one’s bump session? Henry arrived on 10/28/11 and Mom and Dad couldn’t be more proud. We absolutely LOVED working in the Roth home for this session. The amazing light in the nursery was exactly what we were looking for.

It’s been a while since we worked with this little lady… remember? She has grown into quite the beauty! It’s always great working in our favorite field at that special time of day when the light is just so warm and buttery!!! I loved Kelly’s Etsy purchases (cute shoes and headband) – so adorable! We can’t wait for Everly’s big 1st birthday in a few months.

Ty’s First Birthday Party

We couldn’t have felt more honored to attend this little guys birthday bash! We were so spoiled to have been able to photograph Ty again just earlier that week for his formal 1st year portrait session. This time we were able to focus on family, friends, and follow Ty through his first experience as a birthday boy. Seeing a child with their grandparents is always awesome. Nina’s Dad even dressed up as Elmo! The love that surrounded this little boy was palpable. It’s incredible to us how much kids change within their first year and we just LOVE watching & capturing it happen. The thing we like most about photographing 1st birthday parties is that it really brings all of the sessions from the first year together full circle! It is always so awesome for us to photograph a couple’s engagement session, their big wedding day, the baby bump session, their new born child’s first year of life. We were lucky enough to share these moments/sessions with Nina and Geoff and have become friends over the years. I know that I have said this before, but I cannot tell you enough how rewarding it is for us to capture these life moments for people – let alone our friends. I actually got a little teary eyed when I was going through these photos because it’s so awesome to have created pictures like this of a child and his family, knowing that one day they will all look back on them and treasure these moments. Today we get to witness and capture Ty’s 1st birthday party! We can’t wait! Another huge thank you to our parents, Nina & Geoff – we are so lucky to have you as our clients and our friends. This early evening shoot gave us the warm and yummy light we were looking for! We always have such a nice time working with the Fellers. To think… it all started just a few years ago with Kristin + Dan’s wedding, then maternity session, then Addison’s first year, now Harper’s first year of photos. Just look at how much Harper has grown since her newborn session 6 months ago! I always say this, but it’s so true… we are truly honored to capture these beautiful milestones for our clients so that they have them to hold on to forever. Thanks to the Fellers for (once again) being such awesome subjects – can’t wait to see you all again soon!

It’s been a while since we worked with Lindsay and Joel. But now that they have moved back from the windy city of Chicago, we hope to be seeing much more of them and their precious little girl, Ellie. Congrats to Linny & Joel – such a beautiful family:)
