Much love and congratulations to our friends Jordan and Joe!  Steve and I met Jordan through her talented brother Jeff – our friend and branding/website designer.  From the first email I received from Jordan regarding her wedding, I felt like I was corresponding with an old friend.  After first working with Jordan on one of my private sessions, we shared a glass of wine and chatted.  That of course turned into a bottle of wine and some good ol’ girl talk.  Since then, we became fast friends.  Because of our friendship, Steven and I have been joyously and eagerly anticipating shooting their wedding.  Held on the beautiful grounds of the River Club of Mequon their day was an event to behold.  A beautiful cloud cover sauntered in to provide relief from the afternoon sun just as guests sat for the outdoor ceremony.  We loved the details and personal touches Jordan and Joe used throughout their day.  From the beautiful monogrammed robes Jordan gifted to all of her bridesmaids, to Joe’s bicycle gear cufflinks (an homage to his engineering beginnings), to the homemade barbeque rub they made for each guest; no stone was left unturned.  After strolling the golf course with the newlyweds for some incredible pics, the evening’s celebration began. Emily, Jordan’s Maid of Honor, put together an incredible slideshow for the couple.  It was a fantastic mix of images giving everyone in attendance an idea of who Jordan and Joe where then, now, and what their future holds for their lives lived as one.  Jordan also received one of the sweetest and heartwarming things I have ever had the privilege of seeing and experiencing.  Before she passed, Jordan’s grandmother wrote her a special note just for her to open on her wedding day.  The love and thoughtfulness of such a gesture is amazing.  Grandmothers are the best.  We loved capturing this fantastic event for such an amazing couple from two great families.  Our best wishes. Love and Congrats – Sarah (& Steve;)
