Fulcher Family

Where to start?  Well, Sarah first met Christine when they acted together in a commercial for Columbia College.  Last fall we had the honor of shooting Christine’s new actress/model head shots.  Now, almost a year later, we were elated we she contacted us to shoot her family.  As soon as we pulled up to their darling house, we knew the shoot would be great.  It’s so fantastic to capture a family at their residence.  Where you call home is such a big part of your lives; it deserves to be photographed with the family.  Capturing the chemistry between everyone was a piece of cake and extremely fun to watch.  Thanks again Christine, Dave, Dory, and Cooper (their chocolate labra-doodle).   Cooper reminded us soooo much of our golden doodle Monty – same eyes!

  1. Ohhh, listen to you!! The credit for this wonderful little family session goes to the Spottswood Family! Sarah and Steven are true professionals, lovely human beings and know a genuine moment when they see it. We had so much fun, and never had to take ourselves seriously. We don’t like to do that.

Speaking of which, Will and Dory were so goofy during the shoot! Steven and Sarah clearly have experience working with children, and we not thrown off a bit by the tom-foolery. Will is genuinely laughing in most of these shots because he was standing in flowers, wrestling his sister or hugging Cooper. Dory was loving being the center of attention–surprise, and had definite ideas about she should be wearing. I love love love the picture of her in the grass with her hands on her cheeks. Her cheeks have always melted my heart.

We were so happy to shoot at our home too. We’ve lived here almost 15 years and clearly it’s where we’re most comfortable. Before the shoot I was trimming dead leaves, sweeping, cutting, etc…I was seeing a lot of imperfection. These photos captured the nuggets of beauty that were all over the yard. Thanks for bringing them back to the forefront.

I’m so grateful for the tender shot of Dave and I….and we’re all so grateful to have our beloved little Cooper in these shots with us. He kind of stole the show.

Now we have to decide which ones to enlarge. Too hard!!
    Thanks S & S, you’re the best!!
