Two weeks ago Bev and Dave welcomed their daughter Mya into the world. This little one was more than cute and very cooperative in her first photo shoot. Hard to believe we were just capturing Bev’s maternity pics less than a month ago. Bev and Dave, congrats on the new addition to your family!

Last Saturday we celebrated our first wedding of the 2010 season. Although the weather felt more like what we experience during our last wedding of the season, we couldn’t have asked for a better couple. Brenda and Thomas (as well as the entire bridal party) were great to work with and endured the unpredictable Wisconsin weather. We wish them the best in their new life that lies ahead of them.

Melissa and Ben were such a great couple to work with last night. Melissa’s parents allowed us to use their beautiful home on the lake to capture some great pics of the lovely couple (and Alfred – their dog:). We can’t wait to see them at the end of the month for their nuptials at Pier Wisconsin.

It was so great to spend some time with my brother and his boys. They are such sweet and adorable kids… I mean young men!

Last week Sarah and I jetted off to California’s Napa Valley to celebrate her 30th Birthday. We drank a great deal of wine, ate culinary masterpieces, and enjoyed the beginning of a new decade in Sarah’s life. Yes, that is Spottswoode Winery – unfortunately no relation to Spottswood Photography. Happy Birthday Sarah – I love you and had a wonderful time (despite my horrible cough).
