Vancouver Island

While on shore in Victoria, British Columbia (Vancouver Island) we went to the Buchart Gardens. Back ‘in the day’, a couple owned a rock quarry for their cement company. When the quarry was spent, the avid gardener of a wife, decided to design a garden. It was truly one of the most amazing sites we have ever seen. Just incredible!!!! I loved watching Steven look at everything – he was really in his element:)

You might be wondering, “Why the Elton John song?”. Well, we saw a fantastic performer on the ship, Joel Mason. Check him out at www.EltonJoel.com – he rocks!

This is fabulous! I remember walking thru here on a previous trip and thinking “boy, I wish Steven and Tony could see this place”…. I knew you would love it! Hope that our Tony will get there someday too…

I was on the cruise with you and at the gardens. Beautiful. I’m impressed you have so many pics without hordes of people in them.
